George Eugene McCaleb was born in San Francisco on July 8, 1943 to Leo Cisna and Dorothy Lorraine McCaleb. He passed away on February 8, 2017 from a heart attack that exhausted his very large, thoroughly loved, hard-working heart.
George is survived by his wife of five years, ReNae McCaleb of Sandy, children Mark McCaleb of Salt Lake City, Tannon McCaleb (Calista) of Tampa, FL, Mandee McCaleb Grant (Aaron) of Highland, Matthew McCaleb of Bakersfield, CA, Michael Mccaleb of Salt Lake City, Grant McCaleb (Kelly) of Highland, Abby Spina (Jeff) of Bear Valley, CA and step children Travis Brewer of Fuquay-Varuna, North Carolina, Melissa Deem of Sandy and Mindy Cupello of Sandy. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents Leo and Dorothy McCaleb and younger brother Phil \"Shug\" McCaleb.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Hillcrest 7th Ward, 8485 South 1000 East, Sandy, UT. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
