Ricky passed away on June 30. He was born on March 16, 1982, to Richard and Marilyn Rasmuson. He was a gentle, kind-hearted man with a loving, genuine spirit. He will be greatly missed. He married his sweetheart, Amy Robison, in the Salt Lake Temple on February 7, 2003. He was a loving and patient father, husband and son.
He loved the outdoors especially biking and 4-wheeling. He was a very skilled driver and could make a Jeep or Land Rover climb just about anywhere. His curious nature was apparent from a very young age; by two he was taking things apart and putting them back together again just to see how they worked. Ricky wanted to learn all he could and was always trying to better himself. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church and loved listening to Conference Talks on a daily basis. He had a strong and firm testimony and loved the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Amy and his children, Grace and Jacob, his parents, Richard and Marilyn, his brother, David (Anna) and sisters, Diana and Tiffany. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and two cousins.
He is in a better place but, oh, how we miss him!
Funeral services for Ricky will be held on Monday July 7, 2014 at the Garden Park Ward, 1150 East Yale Avenue (1100 So.), SLC, UT at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple and at the church on Monday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up for Amy and his children at Zion's Bank.
