John passed away on November 25, 2018. He was born on April 29, 1936 to Bud and Jean Banks in Salt Lake City.
Everybody loved his sense of humor, his wet kisses and huge hugs "squeeze the jello puddins out of ya". He will be missed by all.
John is survived by his wife Gloria; children Daniel (Paula), Leslie (Patricia), Shari (Randy) and Stacey (Zane); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; grand puppies and great grand puppies; brothers Garry and Michael Banks. Preceded in death by sister Bonnie; son Jerry; granddaughter Brooke; grandson Justin; and his beloved dog Pepper.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29th at 2:00 PM, friends are invited to greet the family at the viewings on Wednesday, November 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday, November 29th from 1:00 to 1:45 PM all at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. He will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
