Scott Weslie Molen entered this life September 24, 1951 and exited peacefully March 29, 2015. Born to Weslie and Lois Goodsell Molen in Idaho Falls, ID, he attended Skyline High and later Brigham Young University.
In 1975, Scott married Karen Webecke of Long Beach, CA, they later divorced in 1983. With his children he loved to camp, fish, BBQ, stargaze, swim, ride the waterslide at Heise Hot Springs and golf. He loved his pride and joy, Courtney and Marc.
Scott was a good salesman and real estate agent. He had the gift of making friends throughout his life at school, Scouts, Collette's and wherever he went. He enjoyed long conversations with his Dad the last few years.
Thanks to all those in Scott's AA groups in Idaho and especially Phoenix, AZ where he lived his last seven years. A special thank you to Ronnie for years of incredible caring.
Scott is survived by a daughter, Courtney (Jay) Banks, grandsons, Canyon and Tryston Cache Banks (Sandy, UT), son, Marc Molen (SLC, UT), sister, Robyn (Steve) Brocksome (Boise, ID), brothers, Mace (Pam) Molen (Taylor, UT) and Matt (Tami) Molen (Heber, UT).
Preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Parker Banks.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, UT.
