Roy was born October 29, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Rose Bruehl and Dell Peck. He passed peacefully with his family surrounding him on May 1st. He married Louise Effie Emery 66 years ago.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, handyman, inventor, artist, comedian, chef, winemaker and best speller of the west side, NEO Kidding! He loved going to Skull Valley, Utah to camp. He could talk about it for hours.
Roy is survived by his wife Louise, sons Rick (Carrie) and Kevin, and daughter Aynnett (Mike) Booth. Preceded in death by daughter Debbie, and grandsons Alex and Jason. He had 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Roy has 2 living brothers, Dell Peck and Jay (Karla) Peck, and a sister-in-law Judy. Preceded in death by brothers Larry and Dick, and sister Katie.
Friends and family may visit Wednesday, May 4, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
