Our loving Mom passed away on June 2, 2014 after a 2 month battle with cancer and heart disease, with her family by her side. Our Mom never had a chance by the time all of this was found. Mom was born Dec. 8, 1937 to Wallin C. and Madeline Birrell. She attended West High School. On July 26, 1956 Mom married the love of her life, Harvey D. Jones whom she loved and cherished for 52 years. Together they had two daughters, Debbie (Dean) Slack and Shelly (Darrell) Harry.
Mom worked many years for Dr. Egbert before retiring to stay home and take care of Dad. Mom was always busy doing something and enjoyed being outside doing yard work. She loved spending time at their cabin, being with her family and rescuing stray animals. Mom never complained or worried about herself, just worried about all of us. Mom used to love camping, boating and fun times with her family and friends. Mom is now flying with the angels and having a good time with everyone who left before her. We love you Mom, you were our rock. We will miss you and your love daily.
Survived by Daughters and Sons-in law, grandchildren, Derrick, Jordan, Dustin, Tom and Rich; Great-grandchildren, Addison, Makena, Kennadee, Chesny and Zoey; Sisters, Vicki (Terry) and Terri (Keith); brother-in law, Gary; 2 cats and 1 dog, Odie. Preceded in death by her parents and husband.
