LaRue Carter Lineberry

1922 ~ 2016

LaRue Carter LINEBERRY passed away peacefully on July 7, 2016, in Salt Lake City.

She was born November 3, 1922 in Liberty, South Carolina. She was active in the LDS Church and served in many callings. She loved attending the temple, performing family history research, creating many volumes of family history and memory albums, conducting extended chats with her sisters over the phone, providing comfortable accommodations and plentiful food for loved ones visiting her home. Extended family will always remember her home as the \"Rollover Motel\" because there was always room for one more guest. Her heritage will be her love of family and faithfulness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her eternal companion, Richard Kendall LINEBERRY; parents, Jesse and Sarah Carter; siblings Grace, Myra, Jesse, Thomas and Laura. She is survived by her children, Ken (Ann) Lineberry, Jean (Randy) Terry, Tamra (David) Moore and Scott (Becky) Lineberry; siblings Mary, Dorothy, Josephine and Carma (Joe); in-laws George (Helen) Lineberry and Gratin (Carol) Lineberry; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces and other extended family; beloved family friend Joe (Chris) Chau.

Funeral services will he held Tuesday, July 12th at 11 am in the Center Ward Chapel, 868 Starcrest Drive (1800 West). Friends and family are invited to a visitation Monday 6-8pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake, and at the church Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 am. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
