Don W. Peterson born March 16, 1941 passed away December 5, 2016. Don was a "true renaissance man." He was an electrician by trade, he was also a welder, gardener, painter, artist, and mechanic. He loved animals and they loved him. He was the ultimate cook. He helped everyone freely and willingly passed along his knowledge and skills. His recipes will be used and appreciated by the family.
Don has three children Don Jr., Jill, and Chris. He met and married the love of his life, Jan. He loved and helped raise her children, Mindy, John (Michelyn), Danyel (Jon), Casey (Angel), and Cody (Sarah). He adored their granddaughters Taylor and Shayne. He had many health problems in the later years of his life. Don is survived by his brother Lloyd (Marge).
A graveside service will be Monday, December 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd (10600 So). A private family visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary. A gathering in his honor will be at a later day. Online condolences: www.larkincares.com
