Patricia Ellen McNeer, age 82 passed away peacefully April 8th, 2019 in her home in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born to Raymond Voil McKenzie and Martha Loretta Larkin on March 13, 1937. Patricia married the love of her life James Edwin McNeer on August 5, 1961.
While building her family, she enjoyed spending time serving the Lord through numerous service projects at the local Catholic Church. She especially loved being around family and friends, loving and serving the ones she loved. Patricia was a faith filled woman and her presence brought you comfort and joy. You could always count on her to say a prayer for you.
She is survived by her brother Terrence McKenzie (Sandy McKenzie) of Cumberland, Maryland, daughter Lisa Gold (Kim) of Riverton, Utah, Leigh Wright (Robert) of Murray, Utah, and three amazing grandchildren, Carmen Gold-Johnson (Jiro) of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Alexandra Wright of Seattle, Washington and Amelia Wright of Seattle, Washington.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband James Edwin McNeer (December 25, 2017).
A Vigil/Rosary will take place Tuesday, April 16th from 7:00-9:00 pm at Saint Martin De Porres Catholic Church located at 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville, UT 84129. A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 17th from 9:45-10:45 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Saint Martin De Porres Catholic Church.
