Our "TERRIFIC" wife, mother and grandmother passed away on February 2, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded in the loving arms of her family.
Carole was born on December 27, 1937 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to LaVona Marchand and George Delbert Coltman II. She was the oldest of seven children. She married ‘Bill' Christensen on March 8, 1956 in Reno, Nevada and on August 24, 1964 was sealed to her beloved eternal companion in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was the mother of four children who thought the world of her. Carole was known to all by her radiant smile. She remained positive and brave through all the trials she has endured through her lengthy illnesses. She was preceded in death by her father George Delbert Coltman II, mother, Lavona Zebarah and step-father Charles Zebarah. She is survived by her loving, devoted and cherished husband Elwood William Christensen of 61 years. Children Shawn (Bob) Wotring, Michael (Rhonda) Christensen, Stacy Miguel, Coleen (Mark) Nelson, 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. She will be missed as much as she was loved.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600th South), Sandy, Utah, where viewings will be held Tuesday, Feb. 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
