Maryanne Stahl Cremer

1956 ~ 2014

Maryanne "Mare" Stahl Cremer, devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on January 19th surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer and complications after a bone marrow transplant.

Maryanne was admired and adored by her family, friends and everyone with whom she came in contact. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, generosity and sacrifice. Maryanne always put the needs of others before herself.

Maryanne is now with her loving husband Don Cremer, her parents Ray and Yvonne Stahl, her brother Gary Stahl as well as many dear family members and friends. She has also been reunited with Bandit, Princess and Boomer whom she loved so much.

Maryanne is survived byher daughter Brandi Cremer (Cameron Bills), her two grandchildren Donovan and Londyn Bills. Maryanne found great joy in raising her two grandchildren; they were the joy and light in her life. Donovan and Maryanne had a very special relationship; he was her best friend, protector and ally. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Rae Vreeken, sister in-law Jolene Stahl and brothers Bob Stahl (Lanette) and Raymond Stahl (Terry).

At the age of 15 Maryanne started working as a preschool teacher at Humpty Dumpty Preschool, in Holiday. She worked there for 15 years then left to stay home and take care of her family. She graduated from Olympus High School in 1974. She started working at the Eccles Early Childhood Development Lab School while attending classes at the Salt Lake Community College. Maryanne graduated with her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development in 2001. After Don passed away she began working at Wasatch Pediatrics Clinic where she was still employed at the time of her death.

The funeral service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 2pm atLarkin Sunset Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd (10600 So.). Friends may call Friday 12:30 ‚ 1:45pm. Burial will follow the funeral at Larkin Sunset Gardens.

In lieu of flowers a memorial account has been set up for Maryanne at America First Credit Union. Donations will be accepted at any branch.

Maryanne's family would love to thankthe doctors and staff at Wasatch Pediatrics for the love and support they gave her during her treatments and the most difficult time of her life. She truly appreciated their willingness and patience to work with her during her illness. We would also love to thank the doctors and nurses at LDS hospital for the love and care they gave Maryanne during her last days.
