My dear sweet sister Catherine Howard Anderson passed away in the early morning hours of March 26, 2016, in a Denver rehab center from the notorious killer, cancer.
Cathy was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from Kearns High School. At 18 she started work at Ma Bell. While employed there she met the love of her life Douglas Anderson. They married and spent the remainder of their lives together. Doug passed away in December 2013.
She is survived by her brother Charlie of Salt Lake City, UT, step-children Shaun, Chris and Jenny all of Boise, ID. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Grace Howard, sisters Betty Lou, Dorothy, Ardis Ann, Sharon and brother Harry "Sonny" Jr.
Cathy opted for cremation and therefore there will be no local services. A Celebration of Life will be held in Salt Lake City in June for family members and friends to attend.
Cathy wished a long, happy and prosperous life for all family and friends.
As her surviving brother I wish to thank with all my heart, her step son Shaun and daughter Jenny who were at her bedside during the last several weeks of her ordeal. God bless you both from the bottom of my heart and that of my 5 children.
