Brittany Nichelle Guthrie

1992 ~ 2018

Brittany Nichelle Guthrie was born on February 21, 1992 in Kansas City, Missouri to Darwin Harwood Guthrie and Arlene Rochelle Williams Anthony. She died on October 17, 2018 in Eagle Mountain, Utah at the age of 26.

Brittany was filled with love and attitude. She loved to write poetry and draw, filling numerous notebooks with her thoughts, feelings, and creations. She loved her mom to the moon and back; they have been inseparable her entire life. Her niece and nephew were the lights of her life. She was never far from her brother and sisters, whom she loved unconditionally and fiercely (heard-dat you guys). Brittany loved her family and friends so much; she understood others' points of view and accepted them exactly as they were.

Brittany had too many loves, interests, and hobbies to list. Some of these are board games, puzzles, spending time with her family, shopping on Amazon, playing pranks, movies, Wendover, reality TV, grammar, people watching and analysis, thinking, learning, and so many more. Some of her outstanding traits were being a light to others, filling the room with her presence, spunk, thinking of others first, amazing sense of humor, her massive heart, and humility. She was absolutely beautiful, remarkable, unique, and incredible inside and out.

She is survived by parents Darwin Harwood Guthrie and Arlene Rochelle Anthony, stepfather Godwin K. Anthony, grandparents Wayne and Arlene Williams, siblings Jasmine Rochelle Guthrie, Darwin Harwood Guthrie, Jordan Elissa Sparks, and Dorian Marsean Guthrie, niece Kayzlee Ellea Rose Guthrie, nephew Darwin Jacob Harwood Guthrie, cousins John Michael, Charlie, Rush, Eryn, Sammy, Anna, Alex, Quinn, Skylar, Ollie, aunts and uncles, and countless friends she considered family.

Preceded in death by her cousin Kathlene, Uncle Bobby, and paternal grandparents, uncles, and cousins.
