Together Forever
OlEve Loomis Davis, age 90, passed away peacefully in her home in Salt Lake City on May 26th almost exactly six years to the day after the passing of her true love, her husband Elmer T. Davis. Those six years were hard for OlEve without her Elmer, but before that she and Elmer were constant companions. OlEve was born in Oklahoma on December 8, 1923, and it was there that she met and instantly fell in love with Elmer, an Air Force pilot. They were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. We who survive OlEve spent many good times with her and Elmer over the years, both individually by each of us and all together at the many family celebrations at their home. These shared experiences bind us and make OlEve's passing the passing of an era for us. We survivors of OlEve are her four children, Kathleen Burnett of Logan, Suzanne Teuscher (Steve) of Smithfield, Charles Davis (Victoria) of Salt Lake City, and Rebecca Waldron (Stephen) of Salt Lake City, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild, with another one on the way.
