George D. Egan, treasured son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-great grandfather, good neighbor and friend, passed away September 18, 2016 surrounded by his family. George was born January 7, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Harold E. and Annie Gray Egan. He married Lucie Jensen in Salt Lake City.
George was loyal, faithful, kind, loving, honest, giving, humble and compassionate man, who practiced unconditional love and had great strength of character. He was a member of the LDS Church and served his country as a Marine in Korea.
Survived by his wife; two loving daughters; two sons-in-law, two step-children; sister, sister-in-law, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, and brother-in-law.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and ‘N' Street. A private family prayer prior to the graveside will be held.
