Sally returned home to her Heavenly Father on July 21, 2016 after suffering from a stroke. Sally was born on July 26, 1933 in Salt Lake City, the only child of Alice and George Slink . She attended South High School and attended the University of Utah. She married Keith Evan Green on February 18, 1959 in the Salt Lake Temple. She loved to read and write poetry and loved to visit with her family. She loved to read and had a library full of books. She lost her beloved husband on Valentine\s day in 1967 due to a tragic car accident. She raised 3 children as a single mother and always made sure their needs were met. Her daughter Heidi was autistic and she cared for her throughout her life. Sally was and active member of the LDS in her later years she suffered from dementia and spent several years in a care center. She always greeted everyone with a kiss and a squeeze of the hand right until she left this world.
Sally is survived by her children Julie (Robert) Wallenmeyer, Darryl (Kristy) Green, 14 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was welcomed home by her Husband Keith, and Daughter Heidi, her parents and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday July 27, 2016 at Larkin Sunset Lawn 2350 E. 1300 S., Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 a.m.
