"Couldn't Be Better"

Charles James Beagles, son of Cecil E. and Pearl Hull Beagles, passed away on Monday, June 25. He was born in Clinton, Oklahoma, on 9 October 1929. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorene, parents and two sisters, Rosetta Irene (Bruce) Sexton and Ramona Pearl (Hugh) O'Neill. He is survived by one brother, Cecil Floyd (Mary) Beagles of Edmund, Oklahoma, five nephews and one niece.

He graduated from Shattuck High School in Shattuck, Oklahoma; attended college in Wichita, Kansas; Iona College in New Rochelle, New York, and graduated from the New York Institute of Finance and the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.

He served his country with distinction in the Korean War, serving in the CIC (Counter Intelligence Corp.). He lived in New York City for 18 years where he was a Stock Broker and manager of a Wall Street firm.

He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in August of 1978 while living in the southern part of France. He then moved to Salt Lake City where he met Dorene Wagstaff. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple in 1980.

His Church callings include: District Presidency in France, stake clerk, bishop, high priest group leader, family history missionary, temple sealer and ordinance worker, and president of the Family History 3rd Branch. Along with his wife, he has served missions in the Frankfurt Germany Temple and in the Nauvoo Temple. He has served as a counselor in the Frankfurt Germany Temple and Salt Lake Temple presidencies.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 5 at 11:00 am at the Capitol Hill Ward, 413 N West Capitol St. A viewing for friends and family will begin at 9:30 am. Interment at Brigham City Cemetery. A special thank you to the wonderful care provided by Brookdale Assisted Living and Solstice Hospice.
