Our beloved wife, mom, grandma, aunt and sister, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 8, 2018 at the age of 78. Born on February 22, 1939 in North Carolina to Lonnie Jones and Josephine Parham. She is 1 of 9 siblings.
Sue worked as a waitress in a local diner when one night a young man named Irvin asked her out on a date. It was a very successful date because within two years they were married. Irvin and Sue eventually moved to Utah where they continued to raise their family. Sue loved bowling, shopping and being with her family. She always enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sue was the most giving and caring person you will ever know. She always thought of everyone else first. Sue was loved by everyone who met her.
Mom we will miss you forever!
She is preceded in death by her husband, both parents, one daughter, one brother, and two sisters.
She is survived by 6 children; Phillip, Deborah, Paul (AnnaMarie), Elizabeth, Gayanne and Judith; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and 5 siblings; Billy, Eloise, James (Gail), Paula, and Lois.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.), Sandy, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday prior to services beginning at 12 Noon. Entombment will follow services at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
