Myrle Weight Johnson, age 93, of EskDale, Utah, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on April 9, 2017 in St George, Utah. Myrle was born August 17, 1923 to Claude Francis Weight and Bertha Harmer Weight in Springville, Utah. At the time of her birth, the family was living in Knightsville, Utah.
Myrle was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, teacher, intercessory prayer warrior and caring friend to all. She was a devout member of the House of Aaron Church and she loved the Lord with all her heart.
She is survived by her daughter Linda (Carl) Jorgensen, son Larry (Marlene) Johnson, 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur H. Johnson, her granddaughter Lindsay (Larry and Jody parents), three sisters and three brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 am prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
