Kenneth passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 surrounded by family and friends at St. Joseph's Villa in Salt lake City, UT. Ken would have been 90 years old this month.
Kenneth was born in Salt Lake City, UT on February 16, 1925, to David and Signy (Jensen) Stensrud.
Ken was a lifelong active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a wonderful man and knew the true meaning of unconditional love. He was always ready to share kind words or a joke with everyone. Kenneth retired from Classic Bowling Lanes. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents whom he adored, his brothers David, Raymond, Clarence, and his only sister Beverly (Melaerts). He is survived by his brother Grant and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S., Salt Lake City, UT.
Ken's family would like to thank the nurses and aides at St. Joseph's Villa for their loving care in the last years of his life.
