On April 14, 2016, surrounded by his family, Bob returned to the open arms of his heavenly father, after beating cancer for 36 years. Although he will be greatly missed his legacy will live on through his greatest joy: his children and grandchildren.
Bob was an avid sports fan, rarely missing a grandchild's game. He enjoyed golf, hunting and the outdoors. He was a hardworking man who set a wonderful example for all.
Proceeded in death by parents, Gale and Mildred Edwards and in-laws, Keith and Darlene Ellingford.
Survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Darlene, sons Jeremy (Jenn), Matthew (Amber) and seven reasons for fighting so hard, his grandchildren: Branden, Austen, Ryen, Kenzie, Zack, Benjamin and his four‚legged best friend Eddie. He is also survived by his seven sisters: Uvonne (Clark) Varney, Shirley (Ralph) Beutler, Jolene Mecham, Kaye (Glen) Willesen, Pat Doutis, Karen (Mark) Nelson, Sandy Ashley, brother in law Glenn (Carolynn) Ellingford and sister in law Debbie Ellingford.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial gathering from 11:00 -12:00 and an open house from 12:00 ‚ 1:00 held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at Larkin Mortuary on 3688 West 12600 South, Riverton.
A special thank you to the medical professionals who fought side by side with Bob for the 36 years.
