Donald Edward McCulloch passed away 29 October 2018. He was born 27 September 1921 near Lorenzo, Idaho to Edward and Lilace Morgan McCulloch. In 1942, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps as an Aviation Cadet, beginning a distinguished career of 31 years spanning three wars. He married DeNiece Teeples on 9 September 1947, and together they raised four children. DeNiece died in 1984. Don married Nan Parkinson 31 May 1985 and welcomed four more children to his family. Don served for 20 years in several temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in various Church callings throughout his life. He was an optimist who considered each day a gift and was a blessing to all who knew him.
Don is survived by his wife Nan, children Candance Melville (John), Melanie Fleck (Ken), Robin McCulloch (Carol), Julianne Hatton (Thomas), Joel Dehlin (Lani), John Dehlin (Margi), his sons-in-law Michael Morrow and John Faust and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife DeNiece and daughters Shannon Morrow and Gina Faust.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, 10 November 2018 at the Boulter Street Chapel 13006 Boulter Street (1400 East), Draper, Utah. Friends are invited to greet the family at a visitation that morning from 9:30-10:30 am or on the evening before, 9 November 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. Interment with military honors will be held Friday, 9 November 2018 at 2:00 pm at Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
