Cindy Lee Banks Grant, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, suddenly returned to her heavenly home on February 14, 2019. Cindy was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 5, 1955 to James William and Elsie May Boone Banks. She married her sweetheart, Craig Meacham Grant, on September 25, 1981.
Cindy loved her family, dedicated herself to being a homemaker and mother from day one, and would do anything for her family or friends. She spent countless hours working on genealogy to bring her family together.
Cindy shared her talents with others in many ways, including; her paintings, carvings, and music. She loved to crochet and was an avid reader.
Cindy was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she loved the Savior, Jesus Christ with all her heart. She shared her testimony of Him by cheering, lifting, and serving others.
Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, Craig Meacham Grant, children: Ashlee Grant and daughter Kylee, Jennifer Grant, Steven Grant and Michael Grant, and 7 grandchildren. Siblings, Larry Banks, Judy Bertoch, Jamie Kenner, and Karl Banks.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the Monument Park Chapel, 1005 So. 2000 E., Salt Lake City, UT. A viewing will be held at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 E 1300 S,Salt Lake City, UT on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 p.m., and from 9:30 ‚ 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services on Wednesday, February 20th. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates 6500 South Redwood Road.
