Our beautiful; wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away on Oct. 23, 2018 of natural causes. She was a devoted Mother, and a very hard worker. She loved to travel and especially with her family. The trips to Disneyland were some of the most memorable times spent with family. She could always be found planning the next trip, the latest and greatest pool party or making each holiday as special as could be. Carol loved the beauties of the Earth, especially the ocean.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years; Alonzo R. Leavitt, her four wonderful children; Pamela Ann (Reed Hull), Sheila Leavitt, Sharon Lyn (Bob Fredlund), and Scott (Tara) Leavitt. Loving grandmother of 10 and doting great grandmother of 14. Preceded in death by her son; John D. Leavitt and her parents; Calvert J. Peterson and Adonna Pearl Frandsen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1pm at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S., Salt Lake City. Friends and family are welcome to visit from 12:00 Noon to 1pm at the mortuary prior. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Lawn.
