Jack Lewis Vincent

1924 ~ 2013

Jack passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Monday December 9, 2013 at the age of 89. He was born July 27, 1924 to William and Mary Vincent. He was the 6th of 9 children. Jack served in the United States Navy during World War II. He met and married his sweetheart Dorothy Jean Seal in Salt Lake City; they were happily married for 62 years. Jack was a long time member of the Sheet Metal Union local 312. He was an honest, patient and loving father. He touched many lives and was a great example to those who were lucky enough to know Him. Jack loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. He enjoyed spending time in his garden "teaching his boys how to weed." After he retired, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and friends in Arizona each winter. We love you Dad and Gramps, you will truly be missed. Jack is survived by his sister Mary Smuin, his 5 children; Ronald (Janet), Harold (Mickie), Colleen (Jay), Dale (Diane), and Jack (Wendy). Cherished Grandfather of 25 and great grandfather of 45. Jack is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jean, parents William and Mary, infant daughter Diane, grandchild Chelise, siblings Donna, Vernon, Glenna, Marjorie, Fred, Bonne and Dale.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service in Jacks honor on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1700 E., Sandy. A viewing will be held one hour prior at the mortuary. Online condolences may be made at www.larkincares.com
