Jody was born in Salt Lake City to Harvey and Sandra Boyce. Her mom said she was the prettiest baby in the nursery.
Jody was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from Anchor Christian Academy private school.
Jody married the love of her life, Troy Bacca, on June 26, 2009. He brought with him a wonderful son, Kip, whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Boyce, and her brother, Ron Boyce. She is survived by her mother, Sandra Saari-Boyce; her brother, Robert Boyce; her sister, Lisa; four nieces; two nephews, two grand nieces and one grand nephew.
Jody loved her career at Continental Airlines, where she worked for 20 years. She loved her family the most. She was everything to everyone. Her dog, Bella, was her trusted friend, but she was the best friend to all who loved her. She leaves a huge hole in our lives.
Her funeral will be at the Holladay Stake Center, 4568 South Holladay Blvd., Holladay, Utah, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014. The viewing will be an hour before the funeral service.
Interment will be after the service at Wasatch Lawn on Highland Drive and 3300 South in Salt Lake at her family's plot.
