Richard Henri Henriod, age 79, of Murray, Utah, passed away Saturday morning, January 18, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born August 19, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the son of the late F. Henri Henriod and Wilma (Savage) Henriod.
Dick was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and served from 1953 to 1957. He enjoyed his career with Kennecott Copper as Senior Buyer, and retired after 30 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed movies, poker games, traveling, trying any adventure that his grandchildren presented to him, and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his three daughters Vickie and Karl Ketterer of Sandy, Utah, Julie Campbell of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Mary and Kevin Griggs of Salt Lake City, Utah, 5 grandchildren, Kris Ann Ketterer, Nicholas Ketterer, Megan Garza, Aric Campbell, and Jack Griggs and his lifelong friend and mother of his daughters, Mary Mitchell.

Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00am at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. A celebration of life service will be held following from 12:30 to 2:30 at the Hidden Valley Country Club, 11820 South Highland Drive, Sandy, Utah.
