Mildred Singer Klein

1922 ~ 2015

Our beloved mother, Mildred Singer Klein, 92, of Draper, Utah passed away on September 3, 2015 of natural causes. She was born on November 18, 1922 in New York City to Jacob Singer and Lena Halbfinger Telitelbaum. Married Vernon Klein and was later divorced. She was the loving mother of 5 children.

Mildred was Jewish and was also a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was baptized in 1969 in Brownsville, Texas. She lived a life of service including being a temple worker in the Portland and Seattle Temples.

She had a long career with the United States Department of Agriculture, beginning in Brownsville, Texas and ending in Portland, Oregon as a financial analyst. She was a health nut long before it was popular. She always ate with her health in mind and exercised at a gym into her 80s. After retirement she enjoyed a trip to the Holy Land and served as a hospital volunteer.

We would like to thank Sunrise Assisted Living in Sandy, Utah and CareSource in Holladay, Utah for their loving care of Mildred.
