Patsy (Pat) Ann Rose Miller

1939 ~ 2014

Pat passed away peacefully on November 6, 2014 in her Murray, Utah home with her husband and family at her side. Our beloved sunshine and beautiful Earth angel was released to the arms of her family, friends and heavenly father.

She selflessly suffered over seven years with cancer. Her courage, bravery and tenacity for life pushed her to fight, dancing again and again with chemo and procedures aplenty. She fought long and hard always with a warm smile, infectious laugh and a heart overflowing with love.

Pat was born on November 4, 1939 to Francis Rose and Thelma Vander Meyden in Centerville, Utah.

Pat later married her very best friend and love of her life, Leo E Miller in Elko, NV on May 11, 1956. They had four children; Gene, LeAnn Kalfaolu, Jeff (Renee) and Karen (Brent) Orton. Fourteen grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a baby girl in the oven. As a family the six of them spent countless weekends in the mountains fishing, camping and enjoying the outdoors.

She had a deep passion for her family and getting them together, Pat thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking for them. With her artistic talents she created many exquisite treasures, including her porcelain dolls, portraits on canvas, and she was an excellent seamstress. Pat also loved to dance and go to Wendover with friends and family.

Pat had a very fulfilling career working with Dan\s Foods, where she felt like family.

She is survived by her sister, Elaine Dyches (Ted), and brother Ronald Hughes. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers; James Rose and Gary Hughes and Mother in law, Eva B. Miller.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday evening November 11, 2014 from 6-8. Please join us in sending her off to the next journey.
