Our beautiful, amazing and generous Alexis Leighann Smith, came into this world, October 29, 1992 to a very excited and loving family. During our short time with Alexis, she showed kindness and generosity to all in her sphere of influence. She appreciated the true value of people in her life and saw the beauty in ordinary things. Her smile, wit, and sense of humor instantly lifted the mood. She was a comforting light to those in need. We are all blessed to have shared our lives with her.
Alexis' passions included spending time in nature, hiking, camping, traveling, animal welfare, environmentalism, painting, drawing, music, reading, concerts, cake/cookie decorating, along with spending time with friends, family, and pets.
In her honor may we be good to one another, listen to each other and share our thoughts and feelings freely. Most importantly lift each other's burdens so they may be lighter to bear.
Alexis is survived by her mother, Kathy and stepfather Abel, her grandparents Larry and LaRae Smith, aunt Barbara Smith, partner, Ryan Collins, constant companion Sativa as well as numerous friends and family.
