Joseph Guiver Keddington was born April 27, 1942, to R. Hulbert Keddington and Marjorie Adell Guiver in Salt Lake City. He spent his childhood on the Avenues and Ensign Downs in SLC. He graduated from West High and BYU, where he was a member of the Young Men Service Club.
He served in the Franco-Belgian Mission. As a captain in the Air Force, he was stationed primarily in Germany, Korea, and Texas. Joe was an entrepreneur and salesman. He taught several classes at Salt Lake Community College. He loved Corvettes and anything else fast.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Susan K. Larsen, and brother-in-law Terry Summerhays.
He is survived by his sister Anna K. Summerhays, brother-in-law Robert Larsen, brother Ramah H. Jr. (Jeanne), brother David K. (Aleta), stepmother Ann Ballard Keddington, and 27 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 12 noon at Larkin Mortuary (260 E. South Temple, SLC) with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
