Jacqueline Gladys King Brundle

1928 ~ 2014

Jacqueline Gladys King Brundle was born on Sep. 2, 1928 to John Barton and Gladys Nelms King in Salt Lake City Utah. She was raised in Price, UT by her mother and grandparents. She graduated from Carbon High School and attended Carbon College.

She married her husband, Gordon Brundle, on April 23, 1949 in Washington, D.C. She brought him home to Salt Lake City where they raised their family. Her greatest joy was her husband and seven children. She loved all kinds of music and knew the answer to any trivia question on Jeopardy. Jackie loved to go on drives and go boating with her family. She enjoyed being a primary teacher and a den mother.

Survived by her daughters, Nancy (Lee) McQuillan, Kaye Brundle; son, Edward Brundle; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Georgeanna Jessen; husband, Gordon Brundle; sons, Gordon Brundle Jr., Douglas Brundle, Andrew Brundle; daughter, Sharon Brundle Drown.

Services will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Belview Ward at 6300 S. 300 E. Murray, UT. A viewing will be on Monday from 10:00 until 11:45 am at the ward prior to her service. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
