Brent Valin Edlund

1961 ~ 2018

Brent Valin Edlund, born December 21st 1961, died on the 12th of February, 2018. He was the age of 56. He died in Draper, Utah; though he lived the largest part of his life in Sandy, Utah as a member of the Pinehurst ward.

Brent graduated from Alta H.S. and went on to and attend a year of college at Salt Lake Community College; this was in addition to accepting a mission call for the LDS church to a Mission in No. Cal. in and around the Sacramento area and also included the beautiful Lake Tahoe area. As a child he enjoyed the travels with the family throughout the U.S. as well as in Europe while living in Spain, and also while living in Japan he enjoyed a once in a life time opportunity to scale the slopes of Mt. Fuji. In later life he enjoyed multiple trips to the Mexican Yucatan and Belize which may well have been his favorite place on Earth. He did have a greater love than travel and that was his Doberman Pinchers. First Peanut and later Wowser were his treasures.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn DeGriselle Edlund, as well as one of his beloved Doberman Pincers named "Peanut". Brent is survived by his Father, George MaKay Edlund; as well as his sisters Joan Edlund Alvey (Roger) and Teresa Lynn Edlund (Marci) and his brother Grant Edlund. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Viewing services will be held on Tuesday morning of the 20th, of Feb. 2018 from 11;30 AM until 12:45 at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Friends may call at the above stated times.
