George Conrad Schrader, 88, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2016 at his home. He was born August 11, 1927 in SLC, UT to Wilhelm Henrik Schrader and Wanda Ida Bertha Reimer. He married his loving wife Vera on November 14, 1947 and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on August 11, 1954. They were blessed with 5 children, Ronald (Valerie) Schrader, Peggy (Denis) McDonald, Sandra (John) Wilkinson, Scott (Sharon) Schrader, a foster daughter Nona (Keith) Jones and Becky Ann (deceased). Survived by wife, children 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 foster grandchildren and 17 foster great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, infant daughter, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and granddaughter Megan Wilkerson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Winder 7th Ward, 4350 South 1100 East, SLC, UT. Viewings will be Friday, July 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church.
