Wayne ‘R' Veater, age 87, passed away on May 7, 2015. Born to James LeRoy and Preelie Pearl Veater in Spry, Utah. His wife, Lora, two brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by his youngest sister, Pearl, and his three sons and four daughters and their spouses and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Wayne leaves a rich legacy of family values and unconditional love for his family and friends. His monumental testimony of the Savior and His gospel will stand as a pillar of light to all who knew him. He was dedicated to the service of the Lord throughout his life.

Funeral service for Wayne will be held on Saturday May 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Crescent 24th Ward, 251 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), and again on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services.
