She married the love of her life Bud Anderson on December 31, 1945 and they were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple on September 20, 2003. They were married just short of 68 years.

Vi was a devout member of the church, and served in many callings. She was chorister in Relief Society, Primary, Sacrament meeting, and was involved in all areas of music including road shows. She also served as Stake and Ward president of the Stake Relief Society and Primary. She was a member of the Sandy Eastridge First ward for many years. She had many lifelong friends. Special thanks to her dear friends John and JoAnn, Greg and Sherilynn, Bill and Connie, and Penny Walker. Vi loved the many thoughtful cards Penny sent her.

Mark Whiting ‚ what can we say? You were there for mom once a week. You go back so far we can't remember life before you. We love you.

Mom spent her last years at Highland Care Center where she enjoyed the fun activities, especially Bingo. She loved having her hair and nails done. We appreciate your care. A heartfelt thank you to her special friends Kathleen, Gerry, Donna, LaVerne and Phyllis who helped make her life there a happy one. Staff members that meant the world to mom and us are: Amy, Brittany, Roni, Kathy, Carlos, Omar, Mike, Anita, Anna, and Melanie. We would like to thank those at Highland Care who loved mom. Please accept our apologies if we didn't name you. It is impossible for us to remember all your names. Mom loved and spoke of you often. We appreciate the Relief Society presidency, the ladies of the Relief Society and her visiting teachers for all they did for mom.

Thank you to First Step Hospice for making her last days comfortable.
