Our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on January 2, 2020 with his loving wife of 55 years, by his side. He was born in 1932 in Romania to Avram and Brana Lupu. He came to the United States with his wife and 2 young children in 1978.
Since he lost most of his family during the Holocaust at the tender age of 8, he was most proud of his family and the memories they built together. Sloim enjoyed a wonderful life and will be remembered by his family and friends as being a loving, very generous and sharply dressed gentleman. Sloim's warm presence and his unforgettable impromptu toasts during get togethers will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Gizella; children Monica (John) Voss, Edward (Christina) Lupu; grandchildren Jonathan (Madyson) Voss, Tiffany (Braden) Larsen, Kathlyn Lupu, Aiden Lupu; and sister Golda Rozenberg.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6th at 2:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
