Ted passed away at his home on September 20, 2013 surrounded by his wife and children. Ted was born on May 16, 1935 to Elmer C. Strong and Thelma Ackerman Strong in SLC, Utah, one of ten children.
Married Oma P. Clark September 11, 1953, later divorced.
Served in the National Guard from 1954-1957.
Married Virginie (Ginny) Davis on February 17, 1962.
Ted worked for Frank Edwards Company for over 30 years, retiring as General Manager. He started his own automotive parts business (Prime Source Auto). He later moved to Ogden, Utah where he worked with his friends at Sebastian's and Kool Breeze.
He is survived by four daughters; Mary, Michele (Eric) McDonald, Susan Schultz, and Carolyn (Gerry) Prodnuk, and two sons by marriage, Kenneth (Karen) Davis and Robert (Julie) Davis. Ted had 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no viewing, funeral or graveside services. Ted would like to invite family and friends to a Celebration of Life to be held at Larkin Mortuary (2350 East 1300 South) from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2013. No flowers please.
