Wilma Farr McCullough

1925 ~ 2015

Our beautiful mother, Wilma Farr McCullough, passed away Sept. 5th at

age 90 from pancreatic cancer. Wilma, a child of the Great Depression,

was the youngest of four girls. At eighteen she left her home in Gunnison,

Utah, and enrolled in the nursing school at the University of Utah where

she met her sweetheart, Moe McCullough. Together they raised four

children and enjoyed a full and active life.

Along with being an engaged mother, Wilma had a meaningful career as a

nurse. She was accomplished without being arrogant, hard working without

showing fatigue. Wilma was always pragmatic, gracious and appreciative.

Throughout her adult life, Wilma met monthly with several groups of friends

that have provided love, laughter, and comfort. As her children, we thank all

her friends for this special gift of friendship.

Wilma is predeceased by her husband Moe and her sisters Beth, Helen

and Nedra. She is survived by her children Christine Baxter (Jon), Jim

McCullough (Natalie), Ann Hinckley (Scott) and Janice Crompton (Craig,

deceased) and eleven grandchildren.
