David William Handrahan

1948 ~ 2018

On the evening of May 26, 2018, David William Handrahan, age 69, passed away as a result of complications with diabetes. Dave was surrounded by family who now take comfort in the thought of his introduction to his mother Marion Goldstein Handrahan and reunion with his father John William Handrahan, sister Joyce, and of course his two dogs Millie and Maggie.

Dave was born in South Weber at St. Benedict's Hospital in September of 1948. He graduated from Clearfield High School and soon after voluntarily entered the military. After his service in the Army as a Sergeant in the Vietnam war, Dave attended Weber State College graduating Magna Cum Laude in Political Science. In August of 1984, he married Gayle Catmull whom he enjoyed the last33 years with.

In 2013, after years of hard work as a Sub-contracts Administrator, Dave retired from L3 Communications allowing him to focus on the things he loved most.

Dave loved the outdoors, photography, and cooking up holiday treats including his award winning peanut brittle. He had a special love for his dogs Millie and Maggie and loved being in the company of his family.

Dave will be forever remembered by his wife Gayle, sisters Margaret and Gail, Laura - his daughter from a previous marriage, grandson Hayden, step-brothers Steve, George and Pat, brother- and sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

To this thoughtful and generous man, we love you and can never thank you enough.
