Ellis "Lynn" Everill passed away peacefully surrounded by love and family on March 26, 2015 in Herriman, Utah. Lynn was born March 24, 1944 to Ellis and Helen Everill in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Lynn grew up in Tooele County where he met and married Patsy Atkin and together they had two children, Brian and Kerry. He later met and married the love of his life, Margaret Sarah Curtis and added two more children, Julie and Jim.
He was a selfless and loving man, always the first to extend a helping hand and friendship to all he met.
Lynn was an avid outdoorsman, spending countless hours working on his cars, motorcycles and trucks.
He was a great storyteller recounting his many adventures to his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and appreciated a good joke.
He was a master of all trades and retired from the Salt Lake County Library System after 25 years as the facilities manager.
He is survived by his children, Brian (Theresa) Everill, Julie (Jody) Bottoms, Jimmy (Jenifer) Bottoms; son-in-law, Mike Jones; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and brothers, Johnny, Paul, David and Tarey.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents; daughter, Kerry Jones; grandson, Jason; brothers, Kay, Dennis and Michael and sister, Diane.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road Sandy, Utah. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday, from 2:00-2:45 pm at the same location.
