1928 ~ 2017

Steve Pedroza , age 88, passed away on January 13, 2017 Born in Murray April 28, 1928 to Jennie Marks and Gumercindo Pedroza, along with big brother Frank and his older sister Emelia; the five of them started it all. His legacy is his family.

\"You plant potatoes you get potatoes."

His teachings and examples are practiced by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A kinder more gentle man there never was. He was fair and honest in his outlook of life. Equality and acceptance were his strengths. Everyone he met was treated with respect. One of our favorite things about him is that he wasn't afraid to "wear his heart on his sleeve\". He showed our children that real men can get emotional about the things they care for and still be strong.

\"For every Bee there is a Bee\"

The absolute love of his life, Jeannine Larson, he treasured and was entirely devoted to her. He was the man and she was his wife. Their commitment to each other was admired and exemplified. They were high school sweethearts atMurray High and married April 21, 1948. Their 1946 graduating class of 90 people, are still their friends to this day. At the age of 88 they still held hands constantly and showed their love and affection to each other. They traveled together to exotic places around the world.

They have four children: Steven (Susan), Marsha Hooley (Mike), Mark, and Marie Eckles (Terry).

\"Right is Right\"

He worked hard and was a successful sales man. In his early career he worked at Bennett Paint and Glass in Murray. He relocated to Orem for Magicolor Paint, and traveled throughout southern Utah selling his products. In his later career he sold cars at Harmans Cadillac in Provo. His values and integrity were not compromised. In his business dealings he was trusted and loyal. He was tough, stubborn and strong in his beliefs and he lives on in our memories of him.

\"You gonna dance, you gotta pay the fiddler\"

He lived life to the fullest. Whenever he was around, it was fun and there was laughter. His sense of humor was contagious. His grandchildren and great grandchildren gravitated toward him and relished in his stories and remarks. He was adoring and affectionate with all 11 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. He had enough love for all of them.

Will it matter in 100 years? If not, don't worry about it.

Everyone he met genuinely liked him and would stop to talk to him. The most wonderful husband, dad, friend in this world. Now he has left us and we search to fill the void. Thank you dad for giving us the understanding that family comes first. We will carry on your traditions as a family throughout our lives. Always and forever you will be in our hearts. We love you so much and we will never forgetyou. Life just won't be the same without you…".Life isn't worth living without Milo". See you around, Heads.
