Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, age 87, passed away Dec. 8, 2013 in American Fork, Ut. He was born on March 7, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to Archie and Mildred Rosbrugh Helmick. He served honorably in the US Army during WWII. He married Norma Jean Bass on April 10, 1948 in Gary, Indiana, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1962. He received his BA Business degree and later earned a MS in Education.
He served in many callings in the LDS Church and he and Norma served a mission in Colorado in their later years.
He is survived by his daughters and their spouses; Marva and Lynn Bennett, Kathryn and Edward Grover, and Kerry and Walker Johanson; Also by 17 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sweetheart, Norma and his sister, Diane.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 13, at 1:30pm in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 S. 1950 East, Sandy, Ut with a viewing from 12Noon to 1:15PM and interment to follow at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S.
