Our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Kerry Haynes, was welcomed to her eternal home with open arms on November 17th, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Kerry was born on January 13th, 1959, in San Bernardino, California, to a loving father, Denny Haynes, who was also a fireman, and her loving and kind mother, Louise Baker, who was also a nurse. Both of her parents preceded her in death as did her close sister, Kathleen Deleon, and also her former husband\s, Ted Duran and Robert Rubio.
Kerry reached people in a deep and caring way. She always tried to help people who needed comforting, and loved her children and friends with all of her heart. She studied to become a nurse and was a surgical technician until being a mother became the most important role in her life. Her contagious passion for both life and her family, along with her lovely smile, is passed down to those who loved her deeply. She is, and will always be, deeply missed.
Kerry leaves behind five children: Her daughters, Felicia Rubio ( Tyrone, Chicago, ILL ) and Cody Duran ( Javier Jr, Phoenix, AZ ) and her sons Alexander Duran, ( Pueblo, CO ), Rusty Haynes, ( Salt Lake CIty, UT ) and Levi Haynes, ( Salt Lake City, UT ). Kerry also leaves four grandchildren, Romeo, Blaise, Giselle, and Javi III who loved and will miss her very much as well as many nephews and nieces.
For those who would like to show their respect and condolences, Kerry's memorial service will be held on Saturday, the 26th at 4:00 pm, at Larkin Mortuary located at 260 East South Temple. There will be a family and friend get together at 3:00 pm, also at Larkin Mortuary.
