Thelma Aileen Latimer Neely, age 89, passed away on June 24, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes after a long battle with several long-term health conditions. Aileen was born on August 25, 1925 in San Francisco, CA to James Leroy and Della Inez Edrington Latimer, the 4th of 5 children.
She married Eddie Lee Huitt on November 20, 1941. They were later divorced. She married Lawrence Barnett Thomas on February 3, 1945. They were later divorced. She married Monta Vern Neely on May 3, 1951. They were later divorced.
Aileen is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Leroy Latimer, sister, Virginia West and 2 grandsons, Lee Johnson and Jeff Johnson.
She is survived by her four children, Della (AJ) Johnson, Carroll Cropper, Eugene Thomas (Chris) and Ronald Neely, a brother, Earl Latimer and sister, Beverly Call.
She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 17 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South). A visitation will be held at the same location on Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
