Stephen (Steve) LeRoy Brockway passed away at home on February 10, 2016 due to complications of COPD. He was born on October 7, 1953 to Menzeo (Roy) Brockway and Bernice Rathfelder. He married Jerri Siler on February 18, 1973, later divorced. He married Gail Bruhn on May 1, 1987.
Steve Enjoyed fishing and hunting. Later in his life he enjoyed bowling with his wife and gambling a little. He moved to Utah to be close to his children and his grandchildren which he enjoyed very much. He loved his western movies and was a true Broncos fan.
Steve is survived by his wife Gail Brockway and his ex-wife Jerri Siler, brother Paul Brockway (Carol-Ann), 4 children; Pamela Norton (Stacy), Sally Turner (Tory), James Brockway (Dixie) and Kimberly Sarti (John), 6 grandchildren and many other family members. He is Preceded in death by his parents, Menzeo (Roy) Brockway and Bernice Cordero, sister Doris Kirkpatrick and his brother-in-law James Kirkpatrick.
A graveside service will be held on February 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. There will be a viewing for friends and family at 11:00 AM with time for sharing memories of Steve from 12:00 to 12:30 PM.
