Dennis \"Denny\" Riley Brinkerhoff, a dedicated and hardworking husband, father, grandfather and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2014 at the young age of 66.
Denny was born in Salt Lake City on May 10, 1948 to Myron and Hazel Brinkerhoff. He graduated from the University of Utah with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science and worked for Hexcel for about 30 years until his retirement in 2010. He loved to camp, hunt, fish, shoot and bowl, which he enjoyed his entire life. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
Denny is survived by his wife, Sherie; his children, Bryan (Jeanette), Sissy Close, Harker Heights, TX, Carrie (Adam) Millward, and Ally; his brothers; Blake (Charlotte), Big Piney , WY, and Chuck (Denise), Salt Lake City, UT. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren; Riley, Cody, Parker, Preston, Karson, Kailey, Dylan and 1 great-grandchild, Libby. He is preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on December 10, 2014 at Larkin Mortuary located at 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah from 10:00-10:45 AM, followed by graveside services at the Salt Lake City Cemetery at 11:00 AM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers toplease make a donation to The Arthritis Foundation or the Alzheimer\s Association.
