Tanner Lee Sorensen received his earthly body on April 1, 2002 in Sandy, Utah. He was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on April 10, 2010 and went on to receive the Aaronic Priesthood on April 13, 2014.
On January 4, 2017 he had completed all that his Heavenly Father required of him and was called back to his heavenly home to continue his work. Tanner enjoyed playing football, basketball, and hanging out with his friends, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. On many occasions he was invited to go someplace with several friends but instead chose to get fast food, stay home and watch a movie with his family. Tanner had a contagious smile that made others want to be around him. He was filled with humility and love and desired to always please others. Tanner was one of our Heavenly Father's choice spirits on this earth and there are no words to describe the pure love and joy that he brought into the lives of all those around him.
Tanner will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by His Father (Terry Lee Sorensen), Mother (Jenilynn Campbell Sorensen) and Brother (Ty Mason Sorensen).
Tanner's family would like to thank all of the Emergency Responders and Medical Staff for all of their efforts and the love shown to them.
Viewing will be held Monday, January 9th at Larkin Mortuary Riverton 6-8pm located at 3688 W. 12600 S. Riverton, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 10th at 11:30am at Herriman Mountain View Stake Center, 14068 South 5600 West in Herriman, Utah. Viewing held at Stake Center prior to services 10:00 -11:00am.
Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South, 13001 South 3600 West, Riverton, Utah
