Richard was born to Thomas Clifton and Margaret Edwards. He attended West High and later received his GED while serving with the 7th Infantry Division in Korea. He finished his enlistment with the 101st and 82nd Army AirborneDivisions. He was a Journeyman Lineman and long time member of the I.B.E.W. Exam Board, a recognition of unusual respect from his peers.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Gordon and Randy; children Cliff and Lori Jo. He is survived by his brothers Jerry, Karl, James, Robert; sister Karen; grandchildren Colby, Nicolas, Taylor; step-mother June.A special remembrance goes to Catia, Bruna, and Carly.
Also special thanks to the VA Hospital, brother Jerry, and Edna for the care offered to him.It can be said, that for better or worse, he was a man who did it his way.
A remembrance of Richard will be held April 29, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 East 10600 South). A graveside service will immediately follow.
