Larry E. Horn

Taylorsville- Larry E. Horn, 79, of Taylorsville, passed away peacefully at home on Monday April 17, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born March 31, 1938, in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, the son of Eugene and Irene Ingram Horn. Larry served his country in the U.S. Navy and also the U.S. AirForce, retiring with over 21 years of service. He worked in severalmines in Colorado and New Mexico, before moving to Utah,where he worked for HertzCar Rentalfor a 25 years astow truck driver, and Car Control.He married Jane Spencer and they spent many wonderful years together. Larry lovedcamping, fishing, and loved to travel, and was also a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Larryloved funny T-shirts and always had a new joke to tell.

Larry is survived by his sweetheart, Jane Horn; and fivechildren: Tammy(Alex)Perez, Larry Horn (Medes), Richard(Bonnie),Jennifer (Jerod) Thompson, Maggie (Mark)Stauffer, and 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren, and Brother; Robert Horn.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kelli Hartog.

A visitation will be heldThursday April 20, 2017, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd., (10600 South), Sandy, Utah, from10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Graveside services with military honors will follow at12:00 noon, also at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
